Subject: Final Thoughts

So that's it my friends. That was the end of a journey that spanned over
12,000 miles, 3 countries, and 8 cities. Damn, even as I type that it
sounds amazing to me, and I lived it. It was one hell of an adventure. I
think the best part of the whole thing is that there were so many
unexpected twists and changes. Man, that's the way to travel. I mean, I
went places I had no intention of going to in the beginning and some of
those things were the best part. Punta del Este, Buzios, and
Florianapolis were all 3 places I had never heard of 2 months ago, and now
I will never forget them. It was just a great feeling to be able to
freely decide what I was gonna do next, and not really know what was in
store around the corner. I crossed the paths of so many WONDERFUL people
that made the whole experience priceless. I have to say, a huge thanks
goes out to Tony...yet ANOTHER thing I might not have ever done if I
hadn't met you. Thanks go out to all of you too, who were always with me
in spirit throughout the trip and whose e-mails made me smile in the
moments when I was missing home just a bit. Lastly, I want to just say
one more time that girls are like rocks...oh wait, that's a different
saying(that was just for you Ray). Seriously though, this trip for me was
an unforgettable, invaluable experience. I cannot stress enough the
fulfillment it gives you to expand your horizons and get out into the
world. If any of you ever get the chance...no matter what your situation
is, no matter how tough it is...do what ever it takes to get out there and
see some little piece of the world. I promise you it will be worth
whatever sacrifice you have to make. Thanks for coming along with me on
such a great ride...and until the next one, I'll just keep on, keepin'
on...enjoying every second to the fullest, doin' it right. This is my
life, people, and I LOVE IT!
