The Sentra's Demise
Well, it finally happened. I fell victim to the Houston Grand
Prix. On Friday, Sept. 27, Tony and I were returning from biking out near
the beltway and I-10 (probably one of worst freeways for traffic on the planet)
and on the way home, we got into a four car pile up while travelling eastbound
on I-10. Two cars in front of Tony, an SUV came to an abrupt stop, causing
the person following him to rear-end him, Tony rear-ended that guy, and I
rear-ended Tony. Nobody was hurt luckily but the Sentra has seen it's last
days and I am now searching for some thing new. Here are pictures of the Sentra,
a great car which treated me VERY well (FOUR trips to Monterrey, numerous
trips to Austin, all the way to Atlanta and back, and back in forth in Houston
for the past year), just before it was finally put to rest. RIP
